Does my building need a backflow prevention device?+
Most commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-residential properties in Ottawa are required to have one under the City's Backflow Prevention Program. A premises survey confirms which device your building needs — we can do that survey for you.
How often must backflow devices be tested?+
Every device must be tested at least once a year by a qualified tester, with results submitted to the City. Premises are re-surveyed every five years.
Do you submit the test results to the City for me?+
Yes. After each test we file the report with the City of Ottawa and send you a copy for your records.
Do you serve clients in French?+
